This means that it needs to be tested and be replaced when it has expired. The safety helmet is one example of this type of equipment. <\/p>\n If the helmet is beyond its expiration date, it is to be turned into the depot and a new one will be issued. If the helmet has been damaged or has received a hard knock, it needs to be replaced. <\/p>\n Safety equipment must be treated with care and kept in pristine condition. Normal wear and tear are accepted. For example, apart from the labels put on a helmet when it is issued from the depot, it is not to be written on or marked in any way. <\/p>\n If these rules are not met and any equipment is not
